First, about you…

You want to make a difference. Maybe you’re the leader of an employee resource group who wants to influence your company’s leadership. You might be a manager with a diverse team who wants to empower them beyond their work statements. Or maybe you’re brand new to a company (or the workforce in general) and want to claim your place at the table without sacrificing your authentic personality and values.

Then again, maybe you’re just trying to stay afloat in this challenging period of human history. We can help with that, too.

Now, about us…

Make Change Coaching was founded in 2024 with the mission of providing the current and future change-makers the space to discover their inner power. You already have everything you need: We’re here to help you stitch it all together.

“I’m not like a regular coach. I’m a cool coach.”

Kate Everson knows what it’s like to be a corporate employee physically but not always spiritually. Starting her career as a journalist, she was lured to the corporate side in 2015 with cookies and health benefits. She’s been there for almost nine years now and continues to push for more inclusive, equitable policies that improve the 9 to 5 experience for those around her. As part of that journey, she completed a certificate in Leading Equity & Inclusion in Organizations and a Masters in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University.

Policy and practices can only take organizations so far, however, which is why Kate also earned a certificate in Organizational and Leadership Coaching. She sees helping others realize their change-making potential as another part she can play in leveling the playing field and elevating historically excluded groups.

Kate isn’t a “nice white lady.” She will not coach clients on fitting in with the status quo (unless that’s what they really want). She’s here to be an accomplice for breaking barriers, showing up authentically, and fighting for what’s right.
